My main hope is that Alan Yentob gets himself in so deep with Ms Batman-Jelly that he is forced to withdraw from public life.
I see he was saying that the closure of Kids Company has lead to a stabbing and other violence. Mainly because certain people aren't being handed wodges of cash so are having to resort to other means to access product from their drug dealers.

As I understand it Alan Yentob has set his own position at the BBC as cultural overlord and does whatever he likes at great expense and no accountability whatsoever.

She is NICE.
She CARES.
That's all that matters.
We shouldn't be putting her and Yentob under pressure in this way. It's in poor taste to ask how the money was spent.

Batman and Yentob. Surely two of the most despicable people in Britain. I cannot describe my hatred for Yentob in particular. As usual, it's all everybody else's fault as well.

She and Yentob come across like the wicked aunt and uncle in some fairy tale. He tries to do the avuncular thing but it's clear he can't tolerate anyone standing in his way on any subject. Easy to see how he could intimidate BBC reporters trying to investigate, and his ego is so huge he'd see it as his entitlement to do that.

I'm sure at some point there were good intentions behind Kids Company and the people and families that they were trying to help will never fit into conventional ways of administration.
But why was Cameron so eager to be associated with it before the elections, did his office really not know the chaotic way the Company was being run.
And if not, why not?
